Pet skills
Other than fixed, invariable skills, i.e. active skills, your pet also possesses passive skills. These can be improved with food and potions.
Your pet will manage these active skills by itself as well as employ them in battle.

D: Skills that have already been learnt and can be learned
E: Skills that cannot be learned by the pet
Production
Your pets will assist in the production of goods of different quality levels and in different quantities, depending on their respective levels in the production skills Woodcutting, Herbalism and Mining. The tools required for production can be bought, either from one of the members of the Sorrun family or from Pykesile at Miller’s Ranch. Production is only possible if the pet has not been summoned.

C: Item the pet can produce with the tool selected
D: Goods the pet can produce after selecting items B and C
E: Actual results of the production process
F: Start production
G: Stop Production
H: Harvest the results of the production
Merging pets
During the course of your battles, your backpack will fill up noticeably with eggs. You can either sell these eggs in the Auction House or merge them with each other up to three times a day.
For the merging process, you will require at least two pets: an “agent” and a “reagent.” The agent is the pet you want to keep and improve; although the reagent’s skill and attribute points will be transferred to the agent, the reagent will be destroyed in the process.
It is important to note that the agent and reagent have to belong to the same element (Earth, Water etc.). The Rune Spirits, which come from Rune Pet Eggs, are an exception to this rule and can be combined as reagents with any other element. If you already have a Rune Spirit as a pet and you want to use it as an agent, it can only be merged with other Rune Spirits.
The following points can be increased by merging: training, experience, aptitude and skill. Approximately half of the difference between the values of the agent and reagent will be transferred to the agent.
The pair merging function allows you to merge two reagents with an agent at once.
This not only results in slightly higher values being transferred from the reagents to the agents, it also only counts as one merge. So if you happen to have enough eggs, you can merge up to six reagents with an agent per day

A: Field for the pet to be used as the agent in the merge
B: Begin the merging process only available 3x per day
C: Field for the pet to be used as the reagent in the merge — this pet will be destroyed.
D: Button to merge a pair of reagents with an agent at once
E: Preview results of merge
F: Pet selection window
