Tall Tale Winners!

First off I just want to say WOW. You guys really did an amazing job on this contest, and while we didn’t get an overwhelming amount of entries, the ones we did get were amazing. You guys deserve a pat on the back for doing such a great job.
That said, there can only be three! The winners are Reagen for his tale about Shayn the Summoner Ninja, Serart for his tale about Major Tigran’s quest for power, and we had to pick Drenn_Govinda. I hope he has enjoyed his time as “the prince of Govinda.”
Again, thank you to all who entered. I definitely enjoyed reading all about your characters. Reagen, Serart, and Drenn_Govinda, please send me a PM or e-mail at contest@frogster-america.com with your character name, and the server their on so I can send you your prize.
Thanks again to everyone who entered into the contest. You all rock!
Tell a Tall Tale and Win

Does your character have a story to tell? Have you ever wanted to tell the world of his or her deeds? Well this is your chance!
We want to hear about your characters trails and tribulations, their successes and failures, and maybe even a little bit about their personal lives. Get as detailed as you wish, post yours in the comment section, and we’ll pick the top 3 entries to receive a Perfect Revelation Jewel Pack. This pack contains 1 perfect moon jewel, 1 sun jewel, and 1 star jewel each of which are guaranteed to give you +1 to your equipment. This contest will run until May 8th, 2011 at 11:59 PST just so you have plenty of time to be creative.
If you want to see an example entry, we’ve posted one below. Good luck to all of our entrants. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
The example you see below is something I quickly put together. Your entry can just be text, and doesn’t need to be this long or detailed. This is just an example of what wanted to do for my character.

Bottle the Spring Rain Contest

Boss Rush Video Contest
Boss Rush Video Contest for GDC 2011
Do you think your guild rocks at taking down bosses? Now here’s your chance to prove it and earn unparalleled glory and eternal bragging rights.
All you have to do is record video footage of your guild fighting any instance boss or world boss in the game. Then, upload the footage to YouTube and send the URL of the video to cmswag@gmail.com . Frogster America will pick the 5 best videos and they will be featured on a big-screen TV at our exhibit booth at Game Developer’s Conference 2011 in San Francisco!
Furthermore, the RoM Community will get to vote on their favorite video. The guild in the video with the most votes will each receive a Grand Golden Repair Hammer in-game, and the guild leader will receive a real-life Golden (painted) Hammer signed by all the Frogster America GM’s to acknowledge your victory.
The main factor in judging the videos will be how entertaining your video is to watch. You should try to pick a boss that has interesting mechanics for viewers to watch, and you shouldn’t pick a boss that is too easy to defeat (because that is boring). Also consider your camera angles and try to keep the boss and your guildmates in the shot as much as possible.
Videos will also be judged on the quality of production. Videos should be at least 720p, in 16:9 aspect ratio, at 25 frames-per-second. Audio of the game is highly desirable but not mandatory. Please do not add any audio, such as music, that you don’t own the rights to.
Here are just a few suggestions for software that you might use to capture the video footage:
CamStudio
FRAPS
GameCam
All entries must be received by February 28th.
