Silverspring

Silverspring has always had important farmland, and even ore mining has taken place here. The name “Silverspring” was supposedly chosen to reflect the abundance of the area’s natural resources. However, the name was first mentioned on a map left behind by alchemists. In alchemy, silver represents magical essence, so “Silverspring” is an indicator of the ancient magic still found in the area.

It is this magic the Eye of Wisdom is after. To be close to it, the Eye of Wisdom moved from the old continent of Kolydia to Varanas — the city that holds sway over Silverspring.

Peerston Farm, Maidge’s Farm, Dorian’s Farm

These three farms are important life veins of Varanas. Unfortunately, a disease broke out a short while ago that lead to a less magnificent harvest than previous years. Those with the Eye of Wisdom are working busily on a solution for this pesky and urgent problem.

Forsaken Abbey

Built some 70 years ago, the Forsaken Abbey had to be abandoned 40 years after it was constructed. It was once used by a secret ominous organization, which worked on forbidden magical experiments alongside the Eye of Wisdom.

About 30 years ago, an accident occurred that almost annihilated the organization. After this incident, the abbey was abandoned. Now the interior is a fearsome place with hordes of restless undead.
