Arcane Transmutor

The Arcane Transmutor is a tool that can be used to improve equipment, increase the level of runes or combine several runes to create a new rune. Open the Arcane Transmutor by clicking the treasure box icon at the bottom of your Backpack. To access and use the Arcane Transmutor, you have to be at level 10 or above and have completed a simple quest in the class hall in Varanas.

Improving equipment

Every piece of equipment your character can wear has the ability to be upgraded or "tiered," represented by the Tier number (can have a max tier of 8), and can have up to six total stats (or powers) added to it. First, you must choose the piece of equipment you wish to “tier up” (improve its power by 10 percent per tier) or add a “stat” to. Whether you are “tiering” or “statting” your equipment, you will need to know how to acquire Fusion Stones and Mana Stones.

Acquiring Fusion Stones

You can buy Fusion Stones from the Item Shop or from NPCs in cities. Most Fusion Stones already possess basic attributes, but when you buy a Fusion Stone from an NPC, a random attribute is added to the pre-existing attributes.

Producing Mana Stones

To produce a Mana Stone, drag a Fusion Stone and a piece of equipment into the Arcane Transmutor. The resulting Mana Stone and its attributes will show up in the preview window. To create the Mana Stone, click ”Confirm.“

Improving equipment using Mana Stones

To improve a piece of equipment, drag it and three Mana Stones of the same level into the Arcane Transmutor. You can preview the new equipment in the preview window. Only a certain number of attributes can be transferred. If you try to transfer more attributes than the equipment can hold, the weaker attributes will transfer first.

Upgrading Mana Stones

To upgrade Mana Stones, you must produce a new Mana Stone from weaker Mana Stones. Drag three Mana Stones of the same level into the Arcane Transmutor. The preview window will show a new Mana Stone that is one level higher than the original Mana Stones. The new Mana Stone inherits most of originals’ attributes. Only a certain number of attributes can be transferred, and the weaker attributes will transfer first.

Upgrading runes

To upgrade runes, you need five identical runes of the same level. After dragging the runes into the Arcane Transmutor, the preview window will display an improved version of that rune.

Combining runes

To create a new rune, drag two or more different runes of the same level into the Arcane Transmutor. The preview window will display the new rune. If the chosen rune combination doesn’t exist, nothing will appear in the preview window.

Arcane Transmutor charges

To use the Arcane Transmutor, you need one Arcane Transmutor charge per use. You can acquire these charges by exchanging Phirius Tokens (available from daily quests) at the Phirius Token Exchange in class halls or by purchasing them in the Item Shop.
