He made it across Alimus’ Tomb through to a remote mountain valley and is challenging you to a battle the likes of which you’ve never seen! But before you come face-to-face with him, you must succeed in stopping the Punishers and thieves he summoned from gathering energy in a public encounter. If you manage this, the next step is Amboriar himself. Test your metal against a brand-new world boss – public encounter-style!
Pumpkin Festival
Trick or treat?
Petrifying pumpkins, ghastly ghouls, and flickering flames – Taborea has never looked so spooky! Wanderers and travelling merchants from afar throng the streets and alleyways waiting for some locals to celebrate with. Just go and speak to the people dressed as pumpkins, and try your hand at their minigames, enjoy some sweets, and – if you’re lucky – get some very valuable treats.
Accompany the two pumpkins, Wendy and John, on their journey through Taborea and protect them from the dangers in their path. Collect seeds from the Kaz brothers or kill some mutated vegetables at the Oblivion Shrine in Tagena. Duty calls!
Instance Difficulty Levels
The long wait is over!
The group instance, The Temple of Raksha, is getting not one, not two, but five new difficulty levels!
Once you step through the main gate and into the vestibule, a large stone tablet will block your path. It is here that you choose which difficulty level you would like to try – are you feeling lucky?
New Instance: The Raksha Temple
In the depths of the forest, a hidden temple rises above the canopy of the dark tangle of the forest. The Temple was once dedicated to the deity and protector of Janost Forest, Raksha. Now, however, Annelia the Puppet Master is making a grab for power. She has destroyed all living creatures within the temple’s walls and turns the corpses of the priests and temple guardians into mindless slaves who roam the darkness carrying out her evil deeds. Do you have the courage to face the horror that lies within the temple’s ancient walls?
The Juice Festival
Every year during autumn, when the moon has reached its highest position in the Taborean night sky, the inhabitants of Taborea take part in the legendary Juice Festival. But the festival isn’t just about getting together for a good time and drinking juices, it also consists of numerous competitions and rewards.

For those of you who are pretty socially active and like to help lower-level players through instances and tricky missions, you can now receive rewards for your selfless efforts with the Newbie Tutor System. Everyone who has reached level 30 and has picked up a training certificate in Varanas can now help players lower than level 20 on specific missions. As a reward you can expect to receive Spirit Points, which can be exchanged for permament attribute upgrades at a later point.
World Boss - Sesphiroth
In Ravenfell -- or to be more exact, the Shackle Coast, a suspicious-looking individual has been wandering around. What he’s up to isn’t clear, but according to some trustworthy sources, if you can find him and take him down, a path leading to treasure will be shown to you. Whether or not there really is treasure is not yet known, but that’s simply because no one has ever returned to tell the tale...
Northern Janost Forest
Many dangers await courageous adventurers who dare set foot in Northern Janost Forest, which is under threat from half-demon, half-dragon creatures. As if that weren’t enough, you will find yourself in the middle of a conflict between two sworn enemies: the Jyr’na and the Angren.
There is plenty to do in this hitherto unexplored land!

But beware: It may be your last battle!
Two-Player Mounts
You now have the ability to explore the beautiful world of Taborea in the company of a good friend riding on the back of one of the brand new two-player mounts. These special mounts will soon be available in the in-game Item Shop.
Pet System
Patch 3.0.2 also sees the introduction of a new pet system with more than 100 virtual pets and a whole range of new functions. To help you get acquainted with these new companions, you will be able to find new merchants in Logar, Varanas and the Obsidian Stronghold who will be able to tell you everything you need to know. By speaking to one of these new merchants, you’ll also get the opportunity to take part in a short tutorial at the end of which you can get your hands on your first pet.
After summoning your pets, they can put their range of skills at your disposal and will be your loyal companions in battle as well as indispensible crafting assistants. The pets can be managed, cared for and even combined with one another through a new and extensive menu.

Northwest of Thunderhoof Hills lies the marshy expanse of the Southern Janost Forest. Its swampy lands are full of danger and hidden secrets. This is the home territory of the principality of Shador, a nation of forest-dwellers who have perfected their use of bows and arrows. The luster has faded from Shador due to the ongoing struggle against the brutal forces of Warnorken Castle, the stronghold of the cruel Baron Reuen von Jura. The castle is the source of all evil in the Southern Janost Forest. However, brave adventurers - dispatched by King Callaway - now gather in the swamps and seek to join the noble people of Shador to defeat the evil.

Thunderhoof Hills (55-57)

Several settlements are nestled in this picturesque landscape as well as the Valley of Glory where mammoth effigies of ancient war heroes rise up to the sky as reminders of past glorious battles. These were the battles in which the legendary King Kalume and his mounted allies once fought against demons and after whom the region was named.
