Last week, Los Angeles was host to the world's most important gaming show, where Frogster presented the upcoming Runes of Magic features and content.
During the show, we announced Runes of Magic's "Chapter 2: The Elven Prophecy" and allowed the press a glimpse at what we're planning for our next updates.
Here's what the press had to say:
Gamebunny
"The game definitely seems a worthy option for those looking for a fantasy MMO without a monthly fee. A big expansion is set to be announced tomorrow, so, I guess you heard it here first!? More RoM news? A new, upcoming instance dungeon called “Heart of the Ocean” takes place entirely underwater. Glub glub!"
Gamebunny posted a few photos from our booth in its E3 gallery and mentioned us in its E3 Day Two Impressions.
Massively
Massively sent Runes of Magic fan Krystalle Voecks to catch a glimpse of all the new content we had to show. She summarized her findings in an article titled E3 2009: A taste of what's to come in Runes of Magic.
Krystalle added quite a few of her photos of the presentation to the gallery.
Gamespot
Gamespot's Andrew Park managed to make some time in his busy schedule to drop by for a quick view of Runes of Magic. He posted his findings in his article "Runes of Magic Impressions — What There Is to Do, What's New".
Gametrailers
Living life through a lens, the Gametrailers staff checked out our booth on Thursday and got the walkthrough — with live commentary from yours truly. (And I do apologize for m... m... my stage fright; that happens when people stick a camera or microphone in my face. :) )

Of course, we had more visitors last week, so keep an eye on our site to see what the rest of the media had to say.
Time did not stand still while we were away, so we have a few more interviews we did or coverage we found on the Web last week. Hope you'll like it.
Zam.com — Interview with Community Manager Kerensky
A few weeks ago a good friend of mine, Sam "azerian" Maxted asked for an interview. His questions and my answers can be found at Runes of Magic: Two Months On.
TenTonHammer
"When gamers first discovered Frogster’s Runes of Magic, it was too easy to dismiss the title as “another [...] clone.” Once beta began and people got a taste of the many features and design elements present in the world of Taborea, players understood that Frogster was on to something with its free-to-play title. As the game closes in on three months since the official launch and over one million registered users, Ten Ton Hammer takes a look at the top six reasons to play Runes of Magic."
MMORPG.com
And last but not least, we have started a new series of Dev-Blogs on MMORPG.com. Kicking off the series is our very own Director of Product Management Daniel "Danatross" Ullrich. He talks about new content and the change to the patch cycle. Keep checking back for more from our people in the coming weeks.
