We will be bringing down the game servers Tuesday, Aug. 24, from 11 p.m. to Wednesday, Aug. 25, at approximately 5 a.m. PDT for routine maintenance and upkeep. 

We have received numerous reports that many of you are encountering problems logging into the game, the website, the forums and the billing system. Our IT group has investigated this problem, and we have been notified by our Internet service provider that there is a regional service disruption in the San Francisco area. 

We will continue to monitor this situation. Service should improve soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

We will be bringing down the game servers Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 11 p.m. until Thursday, Aug. 5, at 1 a.m. PDT for routine maintenance and upkeep. 

We will be bringing down the game servers Monday, July 26, from 11:59 p.m. until Tuesday, July 27, 4 a.m. PDT for routine maintenance and upkeep. Some of you may still be experiencing some difficulties with certain aspects of the game, such as entering instances, your house and so on. This maintenance should remedy those problems.

We are having various issues with game performance, so we will be doing a quick server restart in about 15 minutes. We will be back online as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. 

We will be bringing down the game servers Monday, July 19, from 11 p.m. until Tuesday, July 20, 3 a.m. PDT for routine maintenance and upkeep.

On Monday July 5, 2010, at 10:30 p.m. PDT, all Runes of Magic servers will be taken down for maintenance. We'll also apply a small patch, which includes improvements for zone stability. The patch also includes a solution for the issue with missing stats. Servers will be back online Tuesday, June 6, 2010, at about 3 a.m. PDT.

We are currently experiencing a high level of complaints regarding the PayPal payment method. These complaints are serious, and in an effort to provide the best, most secure payment options, we have suspended PayPal transactions. For now, please use another payment method for Runes of Magic. We appreciate your understanding.

Thursday, April 29, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. PDT, the Runes of Magic servers will undergo maintenance. We will announce the exact times soon, but we wanted to get news of the substance of this update posted as soon as possible, as it is highly relevant to all players.

During this maintenance we will adjust the following:

• Automatic TP-Reset *
• Reactivation of the possibility to send gold and items C.O.D. via in-game mail
• Fix for the instance reset timers on some servers.
• Fix for Thunderhoof Hills NPCs that were killing guards
• Fix for Thunderhoof Hills NPCs that teleport into other zones

* Our latest patch (The King’s Call) has adjusted many skills of all character classes. We will reset all spent talent points on Thursday, April 29, 2010. They will be added to your pool of talent points and can be spent again.

Also, in our continued effort to increase the in-game quality of Runes of Magic, we banned many accounts last week and removed their harvested gold. This was an important step to ensure a healthy in-game economy. At the same time, we also took measures that would make it harder for goldsellers to pursue their illegal activities.

On Wednesday, April 21, at about 11:30 p.m. PST we are going to apply Patch 3.0.0 — The King's Call to the Runes of Magic servers.

The servers are scheduled to be back Thursday morning at about 6:30 a.m. PST, provided everything goes as planned.

UPDATE: We have encountered some U.S.-specific problems in the update.  Everyone is working hard to resolve the problem, and we will have the servers back up as soon as possible.

UPDATE #2: We have activited the U.S. patch for download. If you want to get the patch now, you will be all ready to go when we bring the servers back online. As for the servers, we are working on a fix as fast as possible. We do not have an ETA at this time. Please continue to be patient; we appreciate your understanding.
