Second excerpt from the Chronicles of Taborea
From the third and last era "Cee-be T'a", just before the Great Shift
"So, Masters, you have been researching this phenomenon. Did you find anything? Is there anything you can tell me? Have your scouts brought news yet? What is it we are dealing with?"
The Grandmaster of Varanas' Council looked across the great hall of Varanas where the Masters had assembled. All he saw were empty faces - no a single one had found the answer.
All the people and all the lands that had been touched by the darkness slowly withered; most of the daily activities were stalling, people fell into agony, cattle refused to leave their stables, their milk turning sour; horses threw of their riders; hens refused to lay eggs; the crop died; all the food turned black and became inedible.
