Happy Birthday to RoM! On March 19, 2009, Runes of Magic officially went “live” and set a new standard for free-to-play MMORPGs. Here we are, two years later, and we're going strong.
To celebrate, we'll be having a host of events in-game and some fun contests in which you can win some cool swag ... uh, as in free stuff, not me. Although the Community Managers and the Game Masters will be hanging out with you in-game, giving out some fun items.

The Great Frog Hunt
We’ll never get rid of them, will we? But you know what, how about playing a little Happy Anniversary game with this Frog Plague instead!
Help us to rid the plague from the lands of Taborea once a day by accepting a Daily Quest. Hunt down those frogs, gather 50 of their coins and trade them in at the NPC “Liv Plumflower” for one of the following:
- 03/14 Potent Luck Potion
- 03/15 Experience Potion
- 03/16 God's Redemption Ticket
- 03/17 Skill Potion
- 03/18 Phoenix's Redemption
- 03/19 Big Angel's Sigh
- 03/20 100 Points of House Energy

Free Birthday Gasha
Presents galore! From March 15 until March 20, we will thank you — our Community — by handing out cartloads of presents. Log in once a day to receive a Birthday Gasha! These Gashas may be hiding a Permanent Snow Ferret Mount!
Get your character up to level 20 and log in between March 14 and March 20. Every day you log in with any of your level 20 characters, you will receive a Birthday Gasha.
