There was a swirl of branches as the wooden, moss-covered creature hurled toward the enemy.
A cry of "Anduh' serane atal!" resonated across the battlefield. A lean humanoid launched itself into the fray with grace and with deadly precision. Elven metal flashed in the sporadic rays of sunlight shining through the thick foliage. And then the enemy was dead.
"Sehel na'henda akie" someone whispered silently into one of the Warden’s ear as the Warden looked at the enemy at his feet. His companion placed a slender hand on his shoulder and started to tend to his wounds, muttering ancient words.
Greenish flickering points of light floated from the fingertips of the Druid as he healed.
A short, thankful nod and some words of compassion later, the party disappeared into dense forest.
