Like yourselves, we too are passionate gamers and strive to provide the best gaming experience possible. We want to honor and uphold the values of any good gaming community. In order to achieve this standard, from time to time, we must ban some accounts. While it is very unfortunate that this occurs, this is necessary to ensure fair and even gameplay within the community.
Each case is individually evaluated to ensure appropriate judgment to all involved. Due to the volume of illegal sales activities by some users, it is occasionally determined that anything short of a permanent suspension would seriously jeopardize the integrity of the game.
Frogster America's terms of service are displayed each time a player logs into the game, and by clicking “confirm” he or she agrees to comply with the terms of service. It is important for the players to inform themselves of these rules. Once again, we would like to remind players that we have a support system in place to address any problems or issues with the game. The support team's goal is to resolve all cases in a satisfactory manner for all parties involved.
Recently we have noticed a large amount of offers for real money trade and microtransactions between users and third parties. Such offers are a violation of our terms of service, regardless of who is making the offer to buy or sell, community volunteer or player, and regardless of whether a financial transaction is completed. Such violators will be penalized. There will be no exceptions. RoM has an in-game system to buy and sell items and trade in-game currencies. Items can be obtained purely through gameplay without turning to third party providers.
While RoM is a free-to-play game, Frogster America is a privately owned and operated business. The game and the forums are extensions of that service. Slander or harassment of Frogster America and its employees is not permitted on its official forums and not tolerated elsewhere. Players will be held accountable for their actions on these forums and in-game.
