New raid: Hall of Survivors

  • 09-10-2009

Hall of Survivors — New raid instance for 12 players

Men are as good at creating practical equipment as they are at forgetting their own actions. So, it isn’t a surprise that the knowledge of the Keepers, who are still wandering theShrine of Oblivion, is long gone.

Adventurers are pretty curious. Just like the dwarves, who don’t care if they dig too deep in their eternal quest for gold; adventures don’t care what they might unleash on their hunt for loot.

Recently, a badly injured group of adventurers spread the word that they had found a long forgotten hall deep in the mountains. They talked about almost endless streams of lava crossing these halls and gigantic body parts floating in them.

Unfortunately, the small group wasn’t able to reveal the secrets of these halls before they contacted the owners of the body parts: gigantic machines called "Keepers" with colossal weapons, similar to the constructs from the north of Varanas!

They fought a heroic battle against only one of them but at the end they had no other choice than to retreat. The colossus was just too powerful.

An adequate name for these arches was made up very quickly and got around all adventurers: "The Hall of Survivors" (Trailer).

Once created by the hands of men, the Guardians soon turned against their creators. After suffering heavy losses, the people of Taborea were able to turn back the Golem, and workshops became forgotten.

But in the deepest depths, the ancient creatures survived: Gathered around their leader Protector Andaphelmor, countless Guardians watch over their long-forgotten treasures within the ruins destroyed by lava flows.

The new raid dungeon deep within the bowels of the earth demands much from players.

Only the most exceptionally experienced and equipped raid parties consisting of at least 12 members should venture into the Hall of Survivors. Only these groups will be able to employ the demanding tactical combat required to go against eight bosses. Equipped with powerful abilities, each boss will despatch the unwary adventurer within seconds.

Have a first look at the new raid dungeon Hall of Survivors, which will launch with Chapter II: The Elven Prophecy on Sept. 15 on the official Runes of Magic Web site.
