100 times the fun
The gala birthday event continues and nothing says “gala event” like gems, Rubies to be exact! To celebrate the one year anniversary of Runes of Magic every player who has a character with at least level 11 on their account as of the 16th of March will receive 100 Rubies for nothing, just log in and you will receive free rubies.
Rubies allow you to get your hands on exclusive in-game items that can’t even be purchased with gold or diamonds! Make sure you log into the game within the next 30 days in order to receive your rubies. If you have multiple characters, be sure to log in with the character you want to have the rubies. The first character that is logged in will automatically receive the rubies. You will begin receiving the rubies tomorrow Thursday March 18th.
Triple XP and TP Weekend
This birthday weekend sees the last round of festivities, from Friday March 19 until Sunday March 21 all players will receive three times the experience when killing monsters and questing, and talent points when killing monsters. This bonus weekend will bring our two weeks of celebrations, presents, and events to a dramatic, fighting conclusion. Last call to arms!
Birthday Presents!
To continue our birthday celebration, we want to give you, our dedicated community, lots of presents. Every day this week, if you log in with a character of level 20 and above, you will automatically receive a Gift Package. Each Gift Package will contain a different, random item. See the Package description for details on the possible items. So, bring your character up to level 20 and log into the game every day between Monday March 15 and Friday March 19.
Even our Item Shop is in the party mood: The Birthday Gashas have been specially filled. The six surprise packages contain two items guaranteed plus the chance to get a third item for free! These Gashas can be found in the section ‘Special Offers – Promotion’ from March 15 through March 19.

Meet the Community Manager
Friday March 19th is the official birthday and we will be celebrating with you. Our Community Manager will be mingling with the good people of Taborea. “Lazlowe” won’t just be pulling practical jokes and making sure you’re having a good time, but will also be available for photo shoots – the 10 best screenshots taken with Lazlowe will be awarded with bulging item packages. Please watch the forum Announcements for the schedule to be posted of when he will be visiting each server.
Birthday Companion Pet
Our anniversary on the 19th of March is going to be a great day. Just log in to the game on Friday and adopt our Birthday Companion. We’re giving you this unique pet for free and it does more than just look pretty. Once a day you’ll get a buff through your pet which raises your item drop rate by 10% for 2 hours!
Fireworks!
To round off the festivities every player will receive a package full of fireworks to welcome the Community Manager or simply send rocketing into the sky.
